Hi All! I wanted to share some EXCITING news with you that Stampin’ UP! shared with us TODAY! Stampin’ Up! is making some changes to their stamps, stamp and die packaging and Stampin’ Write Markers.
Let’s start with the stamps, Cling Stamps (the red rubber ones)
When: Starting with the November Online Exclusives. Final Transition to just photopolymer will be April 2026.
Stampin’ Up! has decided to stop their cling stamp line due to challenges in sourcing the necessary raw materials. They presently have access to enough raw materials to continue production for the time being. Still, the supply has become increasingly inconsistent. Certain key raw materials are no longer being manufactured. They’re choosing to make this change now to guarantee a smoother, more strategic transition—with minimal disruption. They will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques.
Now on to the New and Improved Stamp and Die Packaging
When: Starting with the November Online Exclusives All new stamps and dies will come in the new packaging.
As part of Stampin’ Up!’s transition away from cling stamps, Stampin’ Up! is excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies! Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, they’re capable of offering sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. The new packaging is akin to their current die packaging. It consists of durable, clear plastic envelopes. There is an exciting improvement. Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification!
Packaging Details
- New packaging measures 5-5/8″ x 9″ (14.3 x 22.9 cm).
- Stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging. This change makes it easy to store bundles and coordinating products together.
- Packaging is clear with an insert. It displays stamp or die artwork for quick and easy identification.
- Sleek, slim design will help you store more in less space.
- Envelope closure includes a tuck-in flap for quick and easy opening and closing.
- Packaging is sized to fit a variety of organization systems.

Note: The stamps and dies shown in these images are sneak peeks. They are from the November Online Exclusives. This shows the new packaging.
Stampin’ Write Markers
When: Starting Tomorrow, 20 Aug 2025, Discontinuing and Available While Supplies Last
Now the sad news, Stampin’ Up! will no longer be selling the Stampin’ Write Markers. With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, they’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers.
If you love the Stampin’ Write Markers, order soon! Stock up before they go away. They’ll be discontinued once the current stock sells out. Here is a list of the current marker packs available.
I am so excited about these changes, especially to the packaging and I hope you are too!
Happy Stamping
Diane
